Jason Rueger Injured in Motorcycle Crash on State Route 28 [Grant County, WA]

Grant County, WA (October 03, 2021) – On October 02, Jason Rueger, a Yamaha motorcycle rider suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on State Route 28.

The fatal crash took place at about 3 p.m. east of Soap Lake.

Rueger was eastbound. when a John Deere tractor with a hay racker attachment turned onto eastbound SR 28. 

The motorcycle drifted to the left to try and avoid the tractor but struck the racker attachment.

“The driver fell off the motorcycle, ended up on the westbound shoulder while the motorcycle stopped on the westbound lane,” said Trooper Bryant.

As a result, Rueger incurred serious arm injuries. The paramedics airlifted him to Central Washington Hospital, before being transferred to Harborview Medical Center.
