33-Year-Old San Pablo Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Collision with Sports Car on Sheryl Drive
SAN PABLO, CA (May 19, 2018) – On Saturday evening, a collision between a motorcycle and a sports car claimed the life of a man in the Montalvin Manor neighborhood. The Contra Costa County coroner’s office identified the victim as 33-year-old Jason Johnson, a resident of San Pablo.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at about 11:18 PM near the corner of Sheryl Drive and Rachel Road. Johnson was on his Suzuki sports bike when it collided with a sports car, driven by an unidentified driver.
The victim was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek where he succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced deceased. It is unknown if the sports car driver sustained injuries from the collision.
No other information is available to the public at this time during investigation.
