28-Year-Old Jarodrick Smith Killed in Interstate 45 Collision [Dallas, TX]

Dallas, TX (September 17, 2024) – 28-year-old Jarodrick Smith was killed in an Interstate 45 collision early Saturday afternoon.

It was before 1 p.m. when the deadly four-vehicle crash happened in southeast Oak Cliff.

Dallas police determined a vehicle driven north on the freeway has collided with a another vehicle. Afterward, the first vehicle crossed the median into southbound traffic. 

The first vehicle then struck two vehicles in the southbound lanes, crashed into the guardrail and flipped over.

Three occupants in the first vehicle were killed at the crash scene.

 The driver of the second vehicle took themselves to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the two southbound drivers were also transported to the hospital. Sadly, one of them has died at the hospital.

The authorities have identified one of the four deceased as Jarodrick Smith. The other deceased  have not yet been publicly identified.

Moreover, traffic officers are still investigating the cause of the collision.
