1 Hurt in Valley Springs Car Crash on Highway 12
VALLEY SPRINGS, CA (March 27, 2020) – A 30-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 12 in Valley Springs on March 25.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision involving Janeva Thorbrogger occurred on Wednesday at about 11:15 a.m. and took place Highway 12 near Double Springs Road in Valley Springs, Calaveras County.
According to reports, 79-year-old David Alexander was driving his car on the road before he let his vehicle veer into the opposite lane. As a result, he crashed head-on with a vehicle being driven by Janeva Thorbrogger.
Thus, the impact of the crash left Thorbrogger with major injuries. Medical responders transported her to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Moreover, there were two juvenile occupants inside Thorbrogger’s car. Both of them were later transported to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto to receive treatment for their minor injuries.
Meanwhile, driver David Alexander also sustained minor injuries. He received treatment at the scene.
