Driver Arrested in Garden Grove Hit-and-Run Crash
Orange County, CA (May 14, 2024) – 40-year-old Janet Carrillo was killed following a Magnolia Street collision early Sunday morning.
The fatal collision happened at about 1:55 in the 11800 block area in Garden Grove.
Officers said a 2019 Toyota Camry driven by a 35-year-old Riverside man crashed into a residence in the 11800 block area.
Carrillo was trapped by the vehicle that crashed into her home. Sadly, the authorities declared her dead at the scene.
Responding officers said the suspect has fled the scene but they were able to arrest him without incident.
The authorities alleged the suspect was under the influence during the collision.
