Pearce Boyer Arrested in Hit-and-Run Crash on McKnight Way Offramp

Grass Valley, CA (July 23, 2022) On Friday, 71-year-old Janet Beach was injured after a DUI and hit-and-run collision on a Highway 49 offramp.

The CHP says that Pearce Boyer from Alta Sierra struck the back of Robert Beach’s vehicle on McKnight Way offramp.

76-year-old Boyer fled the scene and authorities apprehended him a little while later on Dog Bar Road at Wheeler Acres Road. Authorities arrested Boyer on DUI and hit-and-run charges.

Meanwhile, 76-year-old Robert did not suffer injuries due to the collision, however, his 71-year-old wife, Janet Beach sustained minor injuries.
