Jane E. Birkenbach Dies and 1 Hospitalized After 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 61 

Windsor Township, MO (October 4, 2024) – On Thursday afternoon, 71-year-old Jane E. Birkenbach of Arnold died in a crash on Highway 61.

The collision involved a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by 71-year-old Jane E. Birkenbach of Arnold, and a 2011 Dodge Ram. 

According to the crash report, Birkenbach failed to yield and pulled into the path of the Dodge Ram, which struck the left side of her eastbound vehicle.

Birkenbach was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:23 p.m. 

The driver of the Dodge Ram sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
