Motorcycle in Fatal Collision near Chandler Boulevard

 
PHOENIX, AZ (November 11, 2019) – A motorcycle stuck and killed Jan Hong on 40th Street on Monday evening.
 
According to Phoenix police, the crash happened near the intersection of Chandler Boulevard.
 
Based on a report, Hong crossed the road on foot near the intersection when she was hit by a 2009 Suzuki motorcycle driven by a 32-year-old man.
 
Hong was pronounced dead at the scene and the motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries.
 
Police said impairment did not appear to be a factor in the collision.
