Police Investigate Fatal Bus-Pedestrian Crash on Scottsdale Road

Scottsdale, AZ (January 11, 2023) – Tuesday evening, 52-year-old Jamie D. Slocum died in a bus crash on Scottsdale Road. 

The fatal crash in Scottsdale happened around 7:30 p.m. on January 10 near Thunderbird Road.

Scottsdale Police said Slocum was in the roadway a bus hit him. Slocum died at the scene.

Officers said the bus driver cooperated with the investigation.

It’s unclear whether any charges are pending against the driver at this time.
