Major Injuries Sustained in Jamestown Crash near Yosemite Junction
JAMESTOWN, CA (April 28, 2019) – One person was seriously injured following a multi-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Jamestown.
The crash happened around 8:12 p.m. on Highway 108 at Mount Pass Ranch Road, just East of Yosemite Junction. At least three to four vehicles were involved, according to the CHP.
Fire crews responded to the scene and found one occupant with major injuries. Paramedics took that patient to a hospital to receive proper treatment.
The victim’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.
Authorities closed the entire roadway for about 30 minutes while they worked on the scene. All lanes were cleared at 9:46 p.m.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
