10-Year-Old Jameson Doyle Killed in Bethel Avenue Accident [Sanger, CA]

Sanger, CA (March 9, 2024) – Jameson Doyle, a 10-year-old fifth grader at Quail Lakes Environmental Elementary School, was killed following a Bethel Avenue Thursday evening.

It was about 7 p.m. when the deadly collision happened on Cherry Avenue.

The accident report stated that the victim was at a baseball practice when he entered the street. Sadly, he was hit by a truck outside Rotary Ball Park, where baseball practice was taking place.

Sanger Police officers said the child fell into the ground. According to them, Doyle was unresponsive but still breathing when the rescuers took him to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, where he later died.

The 18-year-old boy driving the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Doyle is about to celebrate his 11th birthday in a month.
