James Whiten of Menifee Dies in Berea Road Motorcycle Collision [Menifee, CA]

Motorcyclist Killed in Normandy Road Collision

Menifee, CA (September 12, 2022) – On Saturday, James Whiten, a 60-year-old motorcyclist from Menifee, sustained fatal injuries in a Berea Road motorcycle collision.

It was about 4 p.m. when the fatal collision happened at the intersection with Normandy Road.

According to the officers who responded to the crash scene, Whiten was westbound on his Yamaha when a Jeep driven by a 38-year-old Corona man approached from the opposite direction.

The Jeep driver initiated a turn but Whiten’s motorcycle collided with the SUV.

Riverside County Fire Department immediately responded and rushed James Whiten to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar with grave injuries.

Unfortunately, James Whiten succumbed to his injuries less than an hour later.

Moreover, the Jeep driver remained at the crash scene and the authorities determined that he was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the crash. The authorities say he did not sustain injuries and they released him at the scene.
