James Ralph Dies after Collision with Car on Northeast 8th Avenue [Bellevue, WA]

Cyclist Hit by Vehicle on Northeast 8th Avenue Identified as James Ralph

 
BELLEVUE, WA (August 14, 2019) – Authorities identified 33-year-old James Ralph as the bicyclist hit by a car on Northeast 8th Avenue, Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Bellevue Police Department, the incident happened at Northeast 8th Street and 132nd Avenue Northeast, shortly after 8:00 AM. A vehicle attempted to turn when it hit the bicyclist.
 
Emergency responders rushed the victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with critical injuries. Unfortunately, Ralph succumbed to his injuries and died two days after the collision.
 
Investigators suspect blinding sunshine as a factor in the fatal crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
