1 Person Dead in Palmdale Auto Accident on State Route 18 near 263rd Street East

PALMDALE, CA (March 12, 2024) – Friday night, James Michael Wolfe sustained injuries in a fatal two-vehicle crash on State Route 18 near 263rd Street East.

The incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. on State Route 18, west of 263rd Street East.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2020 Ram collided with a westbound 2018 Ford for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the female driver of the Ford died in the collision. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the Ram, identified as 43-year-old Wolfe, to Antelope Valley Medical Center with unknown injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
