[UPDATE] James Magner Hospitalized in Plumas County Crash on Highway 70 near Lee Summit
PLUMAS COUNTY, CA (April 13, 2021) – Sunday, authorities reported multiple injuries in a crash on Highway 70 near Lee Summit.
According to CHP, the incident happened at around 11:30 a.m.
Moreover, it closed both sides of Highway 70.
Furthermore, authorities said the four-vehicle crash led to multiple injuries.
Also, responders transported James Magner, 29, of San Francisco, and Sean Oconnor, 54, of Graeagle, via helicopter and ambulance.
Apparently, as traffic was stopped, James Oster, 83, of Graeagle, drove a 2006 Dodge pickup eastbound at approximately 55 mph.
Not noticing stopped traffic, Oster collided into the rear of Magner’s car.
Subsequently, this caused a chain reaction crash. Ultimately, Manger’s vehicle struck the rear of 63-year-old Denise Geissinger’s Jeep.
As a result, her Jeep hit the rear of Oconnor’s vehicle.
Police continue to investigate the Highway 70 multi-vehicle crash.
