Child Injured in Turlock Hit-and-Run Accident on Lander and E Linwood Avenue
TURLOCK, CA (October 16, 2022) – Monday night, authorities arrested James Hilton after a DUI crash on Lander and E Linwood Avenue.
The incident happened at around 7:55 p.m. at the intersection of Lander and E Linwood Avenue.
According to the Turlock Police Department, a white Acura sedan and a Chevrolet pickup truck collided at the intersection. Then, the Acura sedan fled the scene eastbound on E Linwood Avenue after the collision.
Moreover, American Medical Response transported a young passenger of the Chevrolet to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
Just moments later, officers received reports of the white Acura sedan colliding with a parked blue Chevrolet pickup truck at the 1500 block of E Linwood Avenue.
Reports revealed that the white Acura sedan was the same vehicle involved in the earlier hit-and-run crash. Also, authorities arrested the Acura driver, 26-year-old James Hilton for DUI. Then, paramedics transported Hilton to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
