James Harworth Arrested in DUI Crash on Oxford Road [Redding, CA]

Redding, CA (December 25, 2021) On Saturday, 2 motorists sustained injuries in a suspected DUI crash on Oxford Road and East Cypress Avenue.

The Redding Police said that a Toyota sedan speeding westward hit a pickup truck with three snowmobiles in tow near the crossing.

Meanwhile, paramedics took both motorists to the hospital to treat their injuries.

At the moment, the extent of their injuries and conditions is unknown.

Later reports reveal that James Harworth, of Jackson, drove the Toyota in the accident under the influence

Additionally, the pick-up struck a Redding Electric Utility (REU) power pole.

Although, no power outages were reported due to the crash.

The Redding Police continue to investigate the accident. Harworth will be charged once he is released from hospital treatment.
