James Dewbre of Littlefield Killed in US 385 Tragic Crash [Lubbock, TX]

Lubbock, TX (December 6, 2023) On Monday afternoon, 50-year-old James Dewbre of Littlefield lost his life after a tragic crash on American Road

According to DPS, the fatal accident happened on American Road approaching US Highway 385.

Reports say that an eastbound vehicle, driven by a 21-year-old Levelland man, failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into the northbound vehicle Dewbre was driving.

The impact of the collision killed Dewbre, officials pronounced the 50-year-old Littlefield man dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Levelland man and his 25-year-old passenger suffered major injuries and were transported to Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

Dewbre’s love ones and family created a GoFundMe account to help with the expenses.

Authorities are investigating the fatal accident and have not released additional information at this time.
