Ventura Man James Dalton Killed in Highway 150 Motorcycle Crash [Ventura, CA]

Passenger Injured in Ventura Fatal Collision

Ventura, CA (October 18, 2023) James Dalton, a Ventura man in his 50s, was killed following a Highway 150 vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.

Officers said Dalton was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson eastbound on the freeway west of Red Mountain Fire Road. Suddenly, he entered the westbound lane and crashed head-on with a 2019 Land Rover SUV.

Dalton’s passenger was a 36-year-old Ventura woman sustained a broken arm and fractured ribs.

In the meantime, there is no information if the Land Rover driver, a 64-year-old Ojai man incurred injuries.

Officers are still investigating and it is unknown if alcohol or drugs contributed to the accident.
