1 Hospitalized in Sonoma DUI Accident on Coleman Valley Road near Coleman Valley Creek

SONOMA, CA (December 20, 2022) – Sunday morning, authorities arrested James Cooper following a suspected DUI crash on Coleman Valley Road.

The incident happened at around 3:20 a.m. on Coleman Valley Road, just west of Coleman Valley Creek.

According to CHP Officer David deRutte, an eastbound Toyota Tacoma veered off the roadway and collided with a tree.

Moreover, responders transported a 34-year-old passenger of the vehicle to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.

Furthermore, officials arrested the vehicle driver, 24-year-old James Cooper on suspicion of DUI. Then, authorities booked Cooper in the Sonoma County jail with a bail set at $100,000.

Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
