Jake Huewe Killed, Passenger Injured in Single Vehicle Rollover Crash in Needles
Needles, CA (August 31, 2020) – On Friday, 26-year-old Jake Huewe of Anaheim died, while his passenger got injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 40.
The fatal accident took place at around 9:08 p.m. near mile marker 119.
California Highway Patrol said a vehicle was traveling eastbound on the freeway when it overturned for unidentified reasons.
Authorities pronounced Huewe dead at the scene. Meanwhile, his passenger was flown to a Las Vegas area hospital.
Meanwhile, the Needles office of the California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
