1 Dead in Wasco Motorcycle Accident on Palm Avenue and Merced Avenue

 
WASCO, CA (November 28, 2021) – Friday night, Jaime Sandoval sustained injuries in a deadly motorcycle crash on Palm Avenue.
 
Moreover, the incident happened at about 4:57 p.m. on Palm Avenue and Merced Avenue.
 
According to the preliminary investigation, Jaime Sandoval drove a 2014 Nissan Sentra. He traveled south around 55 mph on Palm Avenue, north of Fresno Avenue.
 
Meanwhile, a speeding Suzuki motorcycle headed north on Palm Avenue, north of Fresno Avenue. Then, the motorcyclist braked hard and started overturning onto its left side. As a result, the rider was ejected to the southbound lane and hit the front left of Sandoval’s Nissan.
 
Responders declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Meanwhile, Jaime Sandoval sustained minor injuries and declined medical aid.
 
The crash led to the closure of Palm Avenue, north of Fresno Avenue, for around 2 1/2 hours. Also, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
