Jaime Gomez Killed in E McMillan Street Collision [Compton, CA]

Compton, CA (August 27, 2023) – On Thursday, Jaime Gomez and his dog were killed in an E McMillan Street collision.

The fatal collision took place just before 9 p.m. near the area of E Pine Street.

Alejandro Gomez, the victim’s son said, Jaime Gomez, was hit by a driver while walking his dog Hammer.

Jaime Gomez succumbed to his injuries at the scene and the dog had to be put down the following morning.

Alejandro says “There’s no way to really put it. I want justice. I want something to be done. I want to see effort being put forth.”

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe was created to help the Gomez family during this tragic time.
