1 Dead in Adair Car Crash on 80 Freeway
ADAIR, IA (June 16, 2020) – Tuesday night, Jagjit Singh died in a single-vehicle crash on 80 Freeway in western Iowa.
The police revealed that the incident occurred at about 11:23 p.m. on June 9.
According to the State Patrol, 52-year-old Jaspal Singh of Sacramento drove an eastbound 2019 Freightliner semi on 80 Freeway.
He traveled near mile marker 74, just two miles west of Adair. However, he went off the road and crashed into the south ditch. As a result, the vehicle rolled over.
The police revealed that the 26-year-old semi passenger, Jagjit Singh of Madera died at the scene. He didn’t use a seatbelt at the tome of the crash.
Furthermore, the authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash.
