Jadelynn Kwok and Driver Killed in Street Racing Crash on 91 Freeway [Compton, CA]

2 Dead in Compton Hit-and-Run Accident on 91 Freeway and Acacia Avenue

 
COMPTON, CA (May 2, 2022) – Sunday, Jadelynn Kwok and a driver died in a street racing crash on 91 Freeway.
 
The incident occurred at around 12:37 a.m. on eastbound 91 Freeway, west of Acacia Avenue.
 
According to reports, the parties traveled in a group of street racers on the freeway. Then, a Honda hit the left side of a Toyota 4Runner. As a result, the Toyota went into the right shoulder and hit a pole.
 
Then, the 24-year-old Toyota driver from Huntington and his 18-year-old female passenger, Jadelynn Kwon, from El Monte both died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the Honda escaped the crash scene. Thus, the authorities urged anyone with information about the incident to call Lt Officer A. Phillipson at the CHP’s South Los Angeles area office at 424-551-4000.
