Driver Jacoby Pendleton Wanted in Rebecca Street Fatal Crash [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (June 8, 2024) – The authorities are searching for Jacoby Pendleton, 30, following a Rebecca Street fatal crash Tuesday.

The authorities started chasing Pendleton at Bowen Street. Officers said Pendleton ignored all stop signs during the pursuit and drove on the opposite side of the road.

Pendleton managed to evade the authorities, but they later found him. That is when officers found a woman lying on the ground who was hit by Pendleton’s vehicle. 

Pendleton crashed his car, landed in a ditch over on Rebecca Street, and got out of his car.

Sadly, the authorities declared the 68-year-old woman dead at the crash scene.

Houston PD officers said Jacoby Pendleton has several existing warrants out for his arrest. The charges include aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, engaging in organized crimes, and possession of controlled substances.

He also has an existing criminal history and the authorities said Pendleton was arrested on May 29 but was recently released from jail.

Pendleton remains at large and the authorities are asking those who may have information about him to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
