Jacob Weigert Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Highway 20 [Coupeville, WA]

Coupeville, WA (July 06, 2022) – On Wednesday, Jacob Weigert, 23, of Everett, sustained fatal injuries in an accident on Highway 20.

The fatal incident took place at about 9 a.m. near the 19700 Block area.

Officers say he ran across the freeway toward a bus stop. Unfortunately, a south-bound Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 60-year-old Coupeville man struck him.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed Jacob Weigert to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he died.

In the meantime, officers are investigating the pedestrian accident on Highway 20.
