1 Person Dead in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Highway 290 near William Cannon Drive
AUSTIN, TX (February 15, 2024) – Wednesday morning, authorities arrested Jacob Sussman after a fatal pedestrian crash on Highway 290 near William Cannon Drive.
The incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 290 near William Cannon Drive.
According to the Austin Police Department, a vehicle struck a pedestrian before rear-ending another vehicle.
Moreover, officers confirmed that the pedestrian died in the crash.
Furthermore, authorities arrested and booked the suspect, identified as 41-year-old Sussman, into Travis County jail for intoxication manslaughter.
