Jacob Long and Tia Ledsworth Killed in Bush Highway Traffic Collision [Maricopa County, TX]

Maricopa County, TX (September 9, 2023) – On September 1, 18-year-old Jacob Long and 19-year-old Tia Ledsworth were killed in a Bush Highway Traffic collision.

It was at approximately 11:26 p.m. when an eastbound sedan driven by Ledsworth on North Bush Highway crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a westbound vehicle driven by Long.

Unfortunately, both Ledsworth and Long were declared dead at the crash scene.

Each of the driver had one passenger, a 20-year-old in Ledsworth’s car and a 19-year-old in Long’s car. Both passengers were rushed to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries. 

Officers are still investigating.
