Reports say that a probationer is in custody after allegedly leading Anaheim police officers on a pursuit that ended in a collision with a Toyota Prius in Fullerton.

The suspect, 24-year-old Kilpatrick, attempted to flee the scene on foot but was quickly apprehended following a brief struggle with officers.

Kilpatrick, who is currently on probation for robbery, was hospitalized and arrested on suspicion of felony evading, DUI, and hit-and-run.

Officials say that the woman driving the Prius was transported to UCI Medical Center with injuries and is expected to recover.

An officer who participated in the struggle with Kilpatrick also sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
