15-Year-Old Jacob Gonzalez Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on River Boulevard [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (March 1, 2024) On Tuesday evening, 15-year-old Jacob Gonzalez of Bakersfield was killed after a 2-vehicle crash on River Boulevard.

According to the CHP, the fatal traffic accident happened at about 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of River Boulevard and Skyline Boulevard.

Reports say that a vehicle struck Gonzalez, who was riding a makeshift gas-powered mini-bike.

Medics rushed the teen to ern Medical, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning.

CHP is investigating the probable cause of the fatal collision and have not released further information at this time.
