Rancho Murieta, CA (May 15, 2024) On Tuesday afternoon, police are investigating the Jackson Road tragic 3-car crash that led to fatality and injuries.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the 3-vehicle crash happened on Jackson Road, west of Murieta Parkway at about 4:30 p.m.

Reports say that the collision involved a westbound Acura RDX, an eastbound Toyota Corolla, and an eastbound Toyota Tacoma.

Officials say that the Acura collided with the Corolla, and the impact of the crash caused the Corolla to hit the Tacoma head-on.

Authorities pronounced the driver of the Acura dead at the scene, while the other 2 drivers sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Police are investigating the horrible crash and suspect alcohol may have played a part in the crash.
