IRVINE, CA (July 19, 2022) – Sunday night, authorities arrested Jack Varganagi after a deadly DUI crash on Meadow Valley and Spring Valley.
 
According to Irvine Police Lt. Bill Bingham, the incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred at Meadow Valley and Spring Valley in the Northpark gated community.
 
Reports revealed that a Volkswagen Golf traveling at a high rate of speed. Then, it rear-ended a stopped Mini Cooper. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Mini across the intersection before it erupted into flames.
 
Moreover, responders confirmed that two occupants died inside the scorched Mini Cooper. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Volkswagen, 20-year-old Jack Varganagi to a hospital. Then, authorities later arrested Varganagi on suspicion of DUI.
 
Furthermore, authorities withheld the identity of the victims, pending notification to the next of kin.
