1 Person Dead in Sutter County Head-On Crash on Forty Mile Road

SUTTER COUNTY, CA (May 31, 2023) – Saturday morning, a tragic head-on crash on Forty Mile Road injured Jack Cogburn.

The incident happened at around 7:58 a.m. on Forty Mile Road.

According to reports, a northbound 2013 Mazda collided head-on with a southbound Dodge Ram 3500. Authorities said that one of the vehicles made an unsafe left turn towards the southbound lanes that caused a head-on collision.

Moreover, responders pronounced one person dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported Dodge driver Cogburn to a hospital with a broken leg.
