2 People Hurt in Phelps County ATV Accident on County Road 7240 near US 63
PHELPS COUNTY, MO (July 17, 2024) – Thursday, Jabarie McCoy and William Holden sustained injuries in an alarming ATV crash on County Road 7240.
The incident happened at around 7:40 p.m. on County Road 7240 near US 63.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an ATV crashed and overturned on private property for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, responders airlifted two occupants of the ATV, the driver identified as 21-year-old McCoy, and his passenger, 23-year-old Holden, to University Hospital, both with serious injuries.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
