Alexis Calderon Arrested after DUI Collision near Orange Street
REDLANDS, CA (December 22, 2018) – Three people were hospitalized early Saturday morning following a wrong-way crash on 10 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Orange Street, at about 12:10 AM. A Toyota Corolla, driven by 25-year-old Alexis Calderon, was traveling west in the wrong direction when it collided head-on with a Nissan Versa.
The driver in the Versa, identified as 28-year-old Israel Hernandez of San Bernardino, and an unidentified 24-year-old female passenger were both injured and transported to Loma Linda Medical Center. Further updates on their current medical conditions were not immediately available.
Calderon was also hospitalized for treatment of unspecified injuries. She was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing great bodily injury.
