Watsonville Resident Killed and Israel Cruz Arrested in Pajaro Head-On Accident

 
PAJARO, CA (June 14, 2021) – Sunday night, a person died and Israel Cruz was arrested in a DUI multi-vehicle crash on Hall Road in Pajaro, California.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened at around midnight on Hall Road, near Elkhorn.
 
Reports revealed that an eastbound 2004 Toyota pickup veered across the double yellow lines. Then, it went into the oncoming traffic for unknown reasons. The vehicles sideswiped a Volvo sedan, then collided head-on with a 1992 Toyota sedan.
 
As a result, the sedan overturned and hit a fourth vehicle, while the pickup came to rest.
 
Furthermore, officials confirmed that the Toyota sedan driver, from Watsonville, died in the crash.
 
Moreover, authorities arrested the Israel Cruz, the pickup driver, for DUI charges and vehicular manslaughter.
