1 Person Arrested in Galt Auto Accident on 200 Palin Avenue

GALT, CA (July 11, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, authorities arrested Israel Bautista-Morfin after a crippling DUI crash on 200 Palin Avenue.

The incident happened along the 200 block of Palin Avenue.

According to the Galt Police Department, a Honda minivan veered off the roadway for still unknown reasons, struck two front yards, and collided with two parked cars. Then, the force of the crash pushed one of the parked cars to crash into a home’s carport.

Moreover, responders transported an occupant of a parked car with minor injuries, and the driver of the minivan, to a hospital with minor injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the minivan, identified as Bautista-Morfin, on suspicion of felony DUI.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Galt Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
