ISLETON, CA – One Hurt in Head-On Crash at Jackson Slough Road and Terminous Road

Evening Head-On Collision at Jackson Slough and Terminous Roads, Complaint of Pain Reported

 
ISLETON, CA (January 2, 2019) – One person was hurt following a head-on crash Wednesday evening in Isleton, the California Highway Patrol reported.
 
The crash happened around 9:41 p.m. at the intersection of Jackson Slough Road and Terminous Road.
 
According to the CHP, a silver Pontiac Vibe and a white pickup truck collided head-on in a dark part of the roadway. Sacramento fire crews along with paramedics responded to the scene and found occupants who were trapped inside their car.
 
One patient complained of pain to the neck and was taken to a medical facility for treatment.
 
No road closures were reported.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
