1 Dead in Glendale Vehicle Crash on Ventura Freeway and Glendale Avenue

GLENDALE, CA (April 3, 2024) – Tuesday morning, Isaias Morales Bairan died in a horrific auto accident on Ventura Freeway and Glendale Avenue.

The incident happened at about 4:53 a.m. on the westbound Ventura Freeway and Glendale Avenue.

According to reports, the crash involved a white Honda Civic and a semi-truck. When officers arrived, they located the vehicles blocking the middle lanes of the freeway.

Then, the Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner declared the 35-year-old Bairan dead at the scene.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has issued a SigAlert, resulting in the closure of four lanes of the westbound freeway for three hours, to conduct investigations into a crash.

As a consequence of this closure, commuters are experiencing significant delays, with travel times stretching up to an hour from Figueroa to Glendale Avenue as of 6 a.m.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
