Isaiah Nowell Parker Dead in Devastating Crash on Prince Road [Tucson, AZ]

2 Hospitalized after Crash on Prince Road in Tucson

Tucson, AZ  (October 4, 2023) – Early Wednesday, Isaiah Nowell Parker died, and two others sustained injuries in a crash on Prince Road.

The fatal crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. on October 4.

According to Tucson police, Parker was driving a BMW westbound on Prince Road and ran a red light just before the Interstate 10 overpass at about 1:30 a.m.

As a result, the BMW collided with a red Honda Accord in which the driver and two passengers were seated. Parker died at the scene. 

The occupants of the Honda were taken to Banner University Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the Honda suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Honda was determined to be impaired at the time of the crash. He was charged with misdemeanor DUI. 

Whether or not Parker was impaired remains under investigation. 

Detectives are trying to figure out if the BMW was involved in a street race before the collision.

Further investigation is ongoing.
