Bakersfield Crash Kills Motorcyclist, Involves Isabel Morelos Lopez
Bakersfield, CA (June 17, 2021) – On Wednesday, 23-year-old Isabel Morelos Lopez was involved in a motorcycle crash on Edison Highway that killed a 38-year-old man.
The accident happened before 5 a.m. east of Sterling Road.
Officers said the Ford SUV driven by Lopez pulled onto the highway directly in the path of the motorcycle that struck the SUV.
The motorcyclist incurred major injuries. Rescuers took him to Kern Medical where he later died.
The authorities said the deceased was wearing a helmet during the crash.
