1 Injured in Castaic Deadly Vehicle Crash
Castaic, CA (August 7, 2024) – Isaac Maestas, 22, Jordan Phillips, 23, and Ceyontay Bell, 24, all from Bakersfield, were fatally injured in a 5 Freeway collision Monday afternoon.
It was around 4:30 p.m. when the vehicle crash happened near Templin Highway north of Castaic.
Troopers said a black Nissan Armada occupied by four people plunged approximately 20 feet off the freeway. All of the occupants were trapped inside the vehicle.
Unfortunately, Isaac Maestas, Jordan Phillips, and Ceyontay Bell, were killed in the collision.
A fourth occupant was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
This is fatal crash is under investigation.
