1 Person Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on El Monte Way

 
FRESNO, CA (February 11, 2021) – Tuesday night, authorities arrested Isaac Hernandez after a fatal crash on El Monte Way.
 
The incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on W. El Monte Way.
 
According to reports, the first car that struck the pedestrian was a gray Ford F-150.
 
A witness said that the truck driver stopped and attempted to move the victim out of the road. Then, the driver fled.
 
Thus, the witness went to help the pedestrian and attempted to slow down traffic. However, another vehicle struck the pedestrian without stopping.
 
Eventually, the second vehicle’s driver went to Dinuba Police Department and turned himself in. Authorities took 25-year-old Isaac Hernandez into custody. Moreover, authorities booked him into the Tulare County Jail on vehicular manslaughter and hit and run charges.
 
Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased is being withheld due to pending family notification.
