Woman Dead and Man Injured after Pedestrian Crash near Flagler Lane
REDONDO BEACH, CA (September 3, 2018) – A woman was killed early Monday morning following a hit-and-run crash near Flagler Lane. The victim was later identified by Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner officials, as 36-year-old Iryna Miller.
As per reports, the incident took place at about 2:00 AM in the 1900 block of Artesia Boulevard. Miller and a man were walking down the street when they were struck by a vehicle.
The female victim sustained fatal injuries, and was pronounced dead shortly after the crash. Meanwhile, the male victim was rushed to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. His identity and current condition were not immediately released.
The driver did not stay at the scene and was last seen heading westbound on Artesia.
