Late Afternoon Crash on Highway 133 North of 405 Freeway Leaves One Injured
IRVINE, CA (December 6, 2018) – A woman was injured following a two-car crash late Thursday afternoon in Irvine, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 5:26 p.m. on southbound Highway 133, just North of 405 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Ford Explorer and a red Ford Mustang were involved for unknown reasons. A female occupant in one of the cars complained of leg pain and was bleeding from the nose.
An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and took the patient to a hospital for proper treatment and further evaluation.
Three freeway lanes were blocked while officers and crews worked on the scene. All lanes were re-opened a little after 6:00 p.m.
Due to several factors remained unclear, investigation is ongoing.
