Irene Hernandez Struck and Killed on Interstate 15
Fontana, CA (December 24, 2021) – On Thursday, a pedestrian, 29-year-old Irene Hernandez, died in an Interstate 15 accident.
Officers received the Fontana crash report at 3:09 p.m. on the southbound freeway. Dispatch sent them north of Duncan Canyon Road.
Apparently, the pedestrian stood outside of a white Mercedes Benz when a black Chrysler 300 spun out and hit her.
Unfortunately, the authorities pronounced the woman, of San Bernardino, dead at the scene.
Investigators said it is not yet identified if rain weather was a factor in the accident.
Meanwhile, officers are still investigating this deadly pedestrian accident.
