Interstate 805 Accident Leaves Omar Nicasio Dead [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (February 6, 2023) On Friday evening, a fatal crash on southbound Interstate 805 claimed the life of a male pedestrian, Omar Nicasio, 30.

The California Highway Patrol says that deadly vehicle-pedestrian collision happened before 9 p.m. at Beyer Boulevard.

Reports say that a Kia sedan fatally struck the man walking on the interstate. Officials say that an unknown number of other cars may have also hit the Chula Vista pedestrian.

Meanwhile, the female driver of the Kia stayed at the scene and was not showing signs of impairment.

CHP is investigating the fatal crash and have not released additional details about the incident at this time.
