Pedestrian Dies in San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge Crash

San Francisco, CA (August 20, 2022) On Friday morning, a traffic accident on Interstate 80 killed a pedestrian.

Reports say that the fatal collision happened at around 4:53 a.m. near the entrance to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge toll plaza.

According to California Highway Patrol, the person was walking within the lanes of westbound traffic on I-80 when a vehicle struck them.

Moreover, authorities say that the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials.

Officials are investigating the incident and have not released further information about the parties involved.
