San Diego, CA (July 8, 2022) On Friday morning, a male pedestrian was fatally struck in a vehicle collision on Interstate 5.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the pedestrian accident happened around 2 a.m. between San Diego’s Mission Bay and Bay Park neighborhoods.

Reports say that the man was walking in the northbound lanes of the interstate between Sea World Drive and Clairemont Drive when a vehicle struck him.
